Many have requested the option to share a subscription with family members, since often more than one person in the family needs access to the premium version of the app, even if only one person has IBS.
👉 Noba supports Family Sharing – but only on iOS (Apple).
This is because Apple allows apps with subscriptions to be shared in family groups, while Android unfortunately only supports sharing of apps that are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. This is therefore a limitation on Android’s side, not something we in Noba can change.
We’ve actually supported Family Sharing on iOS for quite some time, but we realized this has not been communicated clearly enough. Here is some more information:
Apple offers Family Sharing, which allows you to share apps and subscriptions with up to 5 other family members. All members need Apple devices and must be part of the same family group.
Google offers a Family Library, but this only applies to apps, games, movies, books, and music that are one-time purchases in Google Play.
Subscriptions (like Noba Premium) cannot be shared via Android’s Family Library.
Family Sharing on iOS becomes available only after any free trial has ended and the first payment has been processed.
A possibility to save money!
Family sharing and family libraries are not unique to Noba, but are something many apps offer. Hence, you might save a lot of money utilizing this, if you haven't been aware of this before 😉
